$20 Monday night Tourney - Magic 8 Cue Club - Cockeysville MD

Fantastic! Just got your flyer in the mail. I've been playing there since the early 80's and was sad to see Johnny shut it down but business was pretty bad of late. The wife and i might stop by this afternoon for a few games. Thanks for bringing the place back on line! Brian :)

John, you really need to work on communication, it's been 3 months since i've heard from you guys and my emails to you, Karen and Dino have gone unanswered. I apologize for these posts but it seams other means communication are ineffective. I'm a patient man but..... Brian :(

Mid '80's Joss, how to change weight bolt?

If he asked for your shaft, you should send him both, just pack them well and they'll be OK. Before you send them, decide if you want new tips on those shafts and Dan can do it at the same time for a small fee.... Brian :)

Best erasable way to mark bed cloth?

I'd avoid using a carpenters chalk line as it can be real hard to remove, however, you can buy the chalk line reel and fill it with talcum powder....... Brian :)

what do you do when you get better and your buddies quit playing?

Scotch Doubles is a good equalizer for these situations because you can only make 1 ball for each turn you get and nobody will end up sitting for an entire game..... Brian :)

Are Bad Deals the Norm for Forums?

I've passed on 3 Joss cues in the last couple months because i keep reading about deals gone bad. Honestly, this is the only forum where i've experienced this many and i'm just to gun shy to take a chance. Sad But True Brian :(

What does it take to get a JB Case ???

Communication. It really is the most important aspect of any business transaction and is something JB Cases has struggled with for sometime now. Lets hope they can find a way to improve it so we all can benefit..... Brian :)

    Caring for a layered tip

Thanks guys I've got a CueTech Bowtie (actually several, people keep giving them to me) and a Brad scuffer. I mostly use the Brad as it does a wonderful job and after a couple years use it still looks brand new but i'll hold off using a pick...... Brian :)

    Caring for a layered tip

So the last time i went to Joss for a new tip i told Dan i'd like to try a layered tip instead of the LePro's i'd been using for the last year or so. So after a few weeks of use i'm wondering if it's OK to use a tip ***** on it or if i should just shape it as needed. Thoughts, opinions...
