Hi guys, i am currently using a McDermott Lucky series cue that comes with a classic maple shaft. It should be 13mm european taper. My friends have been telling me i should get it tapered down a little and probably to a pro-taper. How does the tapering affects the play? And will if affect much...

As in fare in the grip and sweat absorption. So if i get the leather lux and i want to change to linen it will not be easy (and costly) to do so? even at an authorized predator dealer?

I am considering buying a predator blak series cue, but all of them come with the leather wrap. I am used to playing with irish linen as i have a slight sweaty palm issue. How does the leather wrap fare against the classic irish linen? Thanks. :confused:
