He used a Southwest before being sponsored by Meucci. He had the Southwest in his case when i played him in Houston after he won US Open. He showed it to me after destroying me in our match. Here is a post about it: https://thecueist.substack.com/p/an-update-on-kevin-yu-hsuan-cheng

    Fargo ratings men vs women

I have mentioned how impressed I was with Han Yu elsewhere. Her cueball control and patterns are very strong.

Wu Jia-qing, Kevin Cheng, Tony Chohan and Ko brothers all did before they were sponsored.

    Ranking of Pool Fundamentals

Fedor has said it doesn't matter how good a player is, they can work to improve their fundamentals. Repeatability is the biggest thing. More things you have working in your favor, the easier it is to achieve.

    Josh Filler 2025 results

I am pretty sure Wu had a higher fargo than SVB during that time. Wu's fargo is still 836 and he hasnt been playing enough recently to be on the top 100 list. People said fargo was flawed because SVB was number 2 when they believe he should have been number 1.

    2025 Men's World 10-Ball Championship, Sept. 20-28 -- General Comments Thread

Filler hung an easy 9 ball hill hill in the 4th set that would have won him the match. With new life, Duong played pretty much flawlessly in deciding set.

What is the worst roll you have ever seen?

Did you not see the 8 fell into the pocket right before the cue ball got there? 8 ball had been in the same spot the whole game.

What is the worst roll you have ever seen?

Honestly I think he just put a little too much inside on it thinking that if he did run into the 8 he would be fine. The 9 is kind of a big ball if you go to the bottom rail other side of the table. He is a 725 and that was to make it hill hill vs Warren Kiamco. We will never know if he would...

What do you think would happen if there were no handicaps, in any leagues or tournaments, and all tournaments were Open to all skill levels?

I have always said that handicapping is good for pool. Even though they want to slaughter everyone, stronger players would get more out of their game if they had to play well to win every match. Most matches are so uneven that the stronger players dont even have to try and still win...

Best display of cueing you've ever seen

Earl Strickland in TAR 20. It was unbelievable. Looked like he was playing on a bar table instead of a 5x10.

    Recent Facebook banter regarding fargo

Lots of the lower players are underrated and they dont use fargos for calculating ratings normally. This favors the lower players which leads to huge calcuttas. Known pros are never going to have a rating which is lower than their actual skill. They have to bring their A game every match and...
