    Threading pool cue butt

It's approximately m22x2.0 And my fabrication capabilities are non existent at this point, been mostly working with taps and dies, knives and glue for tip repair work, sold my lathe a few years ago but it's wasn't that capable anyway

    Threading pool cue butt

So, I'm not quite sure where to go from here. Couldn't really tell before but it already had this plastic threaded piece, and in trying to tap it, it came out and was so thin it cracked, so I just took out the ridiculous 4oz weight bolt too, odd size 7/16-14 Any ideas? I'm guessing send it off...

It's about 18.5mm, should fit the m20 well. I'll try it and hope it's not an acetal, fingers crossed. I appreciate your advice. Thank you.

    Threading pool cue butt

I'd like to fit my predator extension to my new cue, so I was wondering if an m20x1.5 tap would be ok to make threads or if it would just tear out? I'd tap and die a male m20x1.5 female m16x1.5 adapter, but I don't want to just tear it all out trying to tap it with a metal tap.

Big Question - Do you break with your main playing cue or not

can't stop laughing at this as for the OP, a few reputable cue makers have told me that if a cue can't be used for breaking, then what good is it, just that doing so will flatten and harden the tip that said, probably shouldn't break with LD shafts cause they're spliced and could come apart...
