Ok! Here a simple Question? Here do you position your rubber sleeve on your cue butt???

There's a Dutch player who uses the longest grip / wrap I've ever seen. It starts an inch from the top of the butt and goes all the way down, leaving about five inches bare at the bottom end. Which is where his right hand is when he plays.

Looking For other Photos of Bob Byrne with Travel Cue given to him by Dieckman!!

The pic with Byrne and Jeanette is from 2005, Carom Cafe. Byrne was a visitor, he didn't play. But Jeanette did, and she found herself in a flight with Mike Massey and Dennis Dieckman! We saw some unusual shots, innings were thankfully not kept, and everybody had fun.

How are the U.S. 3C org. doing Today????

It's indeed hard af, the learning curve is long, there's no instant gratification and the frustration of getting poor results can be sky high. Which is why we should stop comparing 3C to other, more commercially succesful sports. 3-cushion is and will always be a small, niche sport globally. I...

Has anyone bought cues from this site?

I sort-of know the guy who runs that site (Bert Piepers) but I've never done business with him. Never heard a bad story, I must say. But always be careful with cues! There are more knock-offs on the market than most people know, and a "certificate of authenticity" is photoshopped in minutes.

    super match.

I think I can explain that ubiquitous and totally annoying fifties jazz in French billiard rooms. it's the only music they can play without paying copyright fees. That's not to be snarky, I asked a room owner and that was his explanation.

Friendly warning: once the 3-cushion virus has you, that's it. No known cure.

HOW WOULD YOU PLAY THIS POSITION?

If the ticky gets two points, you're in the wrong league. :)

    What carom table is this?

A halfway decent balkline player can make 600 points in that game if he's drunk and has his left wrist cuffed to his right ankle.

    3c shot

In pool, one moment of vanity or a desire to gamble can cost you the match. 3C is a little more forgiving, sometimes you can put your money on drawing to an inside straight, hoping it pays off. If you miss and he runs 8, just smile and own it.

    3c shot

My question is: what's the point of that triangle on a 3C table?

    3c shot

The people who do not like this choice of shot probably think it is too low-percentage. "Beautiful when it comes off, but it hardly ever does." I can sympathize with that, but there is a second side to the coin. Those who don't like the shot, never play it and it will therefore stay...

How Many Miss Mr3Cushion, Comments or Knowledges??

I had the honor of playing him in the Dutch League a few months ago. He beat me fair and square, at 87 years of age, 40-34 in 32 innings. He closed it out with a textbook-perfect run of 9.

JP de Bruijn runs 26 in the Belgian League.

The 2024 Dutch Masters winner and 2005 World Championship runner-up Jean Paul de Bruijn has made a run of 26 in the Belgian League. His monumental effort came in the second inning, and he won the match 40-19 in 13. Only eight runs (documented, refereed) of 26 had been made in history, three of...
