I appreciate the ideas and advice. I did talk to RB when I first got into this, he's not experienced with extensions and having him make one was not going to work out. I ended up reaching out to Blokid on here and we've gone back and forth trading specs. he's in the process of building me one...

that would work except for a couple things... it does hold the butt cap on (even though it's expoxied, it still helps hold it. and I'm not looking for a full time extension, just something temporary. I am working with Blokid to build something that works, we'll see how it goes!
