Yeah, we preferred the look of the Professional but we also prefer drop pockets.

Home Pool Room Build - 9' Diamond Professional

Yes, we have been playing with only the Littman light being the only light on. The picture shows a hot spot in the center area but it doesn’t look like that. Currently the bottom of the light is about 43.5” above the playing surface. I will be lowering the light by about 2-3”.

Home Pool Room Build - 9' Diamond Professional

Thanks for the tips. I actually do want the Diamond spectator chairs but my wife doesn’t like the look of them and they’re pricey. These director chairs are actually the same height as the Diamond chairs so they’ll have to do for now. As for Video recording, I was planning on strapping a...

Home Pool Room Build - 9' Diamond Professional

July 11, 2020: Wired in a switch and fan box for the Littman light. Centered the fan box within the 4 can lights. Added 4 cross braces for the light - I wanted the look of 4 cables supporting the light instead of 2 cables. I also changed out the black power cable for a white one.

    Calling all Diamond Technicians

I contacted Diamond, sent them pictures of the position of my legs and they confirmed that I will only be able to lower it until it reaches the adjustment hole on the leveling feet - roughly 0.5". I was told they were working on redesigning the leveling feet.

    Calling all Diamond Technicians

Thanks. That looks like the Diamond Professional and from what I'm seeing on my Type 2 leg style, it’s impossible to get down to a playing surface height below 31.5”, let alone 29.25”.

    Calling all Diamond Technicians

With the 3 piece slate (thicker than the 1 piece), the lowest possible playing height would be 31.5”. I’m wondering if the leveling feet has an adjustment because there is a collar with a set small set screw. If that collar can be raised to the hole then I’d should be able to lower it an...

    Calling all Diamond Technicians

Looking at each pedestal's legs (available threads), the difference between the highest and lowest is roughly 3/16' - not too bad out of level. Looking at the pictures from the manningcues website it seems all the leveling pedestals on the Type 2 legs, are roughly in a similar position.

    Calling all Diamond Technicians

Damn! Is there a t-but within the footing or are you referring to the T-nut that is screwed into the bottom of the legs with 3 screws?

    Calling all Diamond Technicians

I have the polished aluminum pedestal feet. I don’t see how it’s possible to go any lower than 31.5” because the holes in the aluminum feet only has about 0.5” before it hits the threads. Plus, the hole is almost level with the bottom of the wooden legs.

    Calling all Diamond Technicians

What playing surface height are you setting up the 9' Diamond Professional? I recently received my Diamond Professional 9' with Type 2 legs (square legs with polished aluminum feet) and it seems like the lowest possible playing surface height is about 31.5". Currently, the playing surface...

    New LED Table Light

@td873 and @tenfttall, It looks like you both have 9ft tables. I recently received my 7’ Littman light and my 9ft table will be arriving in a week or 2. What is the final distance (from the playing surface to the bottom of the reflectors) that each of you chose? Thanks

Diamond pool table -- pro am or professional

I ordered mine roughly 1 month ago and the current ETA is mid to late July. This should give me enough time to mount a light and add a electrical line and switch. I ordered a Littman light and that should arrive in the next few weeks.
