Sold Pristine Becue Carbon Fiber with extensions

I bought this Becue from Hillbilly Charlie Bryant at DCC 2020. First came the pandemic and now I have broken both shoulders. Inoperable at my age (80), so I am looking to pass them on. I have never actually played a game with it…a few practice hits. I am 6’3” and this is a 66” cue, evenly split...

    Becue

Thanks for the kind words, gypsy. Broke the first one last July. I am 80 and no one wants to operate…understandable. I talked an orthopedist into doing the surgery, which involves using a cadaver ligament. The donor ligament broke after a couple weeks. SOL. Broke the other one last week. Same...

Air travel with your cues... what does everyone use?

Fabricated a corrugated box When I went to DCC, I fabricated a custom cardboard box. Not fancy, so as not to attract attention, but well padded. Checked it as luggage and had no problems. No indication it was a valuable package...could have been anything from a big hoagie to my dirty laundry.

    Willie Mosconi's autograph

I had the same experience with the great photographer Ansel Adams at his Yosemite Workshop in June 1977. I bought one of his books and asked him to sign it “To Jim”. After he walked away and I recovered from being in the presence of the great man, I looked at the inscription: “To Tim”.

    Diamond Ball Polisher issue...

Sure...whatever works for you. I set my timer for 15 minutes. If it is important to you, you may run some definitive test, aiming, i guess for the least possible time. Me? I set my timer for 15 minutes.

    Diamond Ball Polisher issue...

A little dab'll do ya. I put eight balls in the cleaner, turn it on (15 minutes or so) then dribble 5-6 drops of ball cleaner on the spinning balls. Any more than that amount and the balls will seize up momentarily. When that happens, a ball may pop out of the cleaner...maybe two balls. I have...

The end of pool on TV?

On ESPN? ABC? NBC? CBS? TNT? Where? If it is streaming on a website that proves my point.

The end of pool on TV?

We all know that you never see any cue sports on TV in the US. But the fact that pool will NOT be shown on the major networks was driven home a week or so ago: for two consecutive nights the collegiate cornhole...yes corn-effing-hole...was on ESPN.
