    WHAT IS 'SPORTSBOOK CASH'?

Pretend betting. If a big match comes up, check out the sportsbook forum https://forums.azbilliards.com/forums/sportsbook-vbookie-events.26/ I tried going there once to put a bet down, but they closed the betting a few days before the match.

    George Balabushka, any guess?

Minimum wage in New York state in 1972 was $1.85. A $150 cue would take 81 hours of working at minimum wage to buy. NYC wage now is $15 an hour. 81 hours of working now would get you $1216 Going through old posts I found a receipt for a Rambo cue with 2 shafts for $90 in 1967. Also a Balabushka...

How to pack your cues on airplane?

I have a cheap hard 1 x 2 that I put inside a Large Porper Travel Bag. I take a cue that I won't be heartbroken over should it get lost. They have extra small stickers on the claim tag that I put on the inside case. The travel bag has two zippers that I put a TSA approved lock on.

Do you move balls using the body of a carbon fiber shaft?

No, I still gently use the end of the shaft.....same as I do with my wood shafts. Old habits are hard to break. :)

How important to your success at the table is your pace of play?

I would play worse if I had to slow down my pace of play. Especially if I catch a gear, I tend to shoot even more rapid.

Pocket Size on Valley 7ft tables used in APA Tournament

I was at the APA Teams in Oct 2021 at the Westgate. I went up to the main referee desk and asked what is the pocket size. They looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. Next time I will just borrow a tape measure.

    Drop pockets or ball return?

For home, drop pockets. Don't like to bend over. If I was a one-pocker player/practicer - ball return.

Uni-loc vs. threaded joint: Is performance of cue affected?

Zero problems with my P3 & Roadline Uni-loc's. Its shafts are Revo, Cynergy, OB1. I always keep the threads super clean. I have to use less pressure to tighten it than my other joints, otherwise its hard to get off. My large pin Mezz Wavy feels more like a one-piece cue than the Uni-loc. On the...

    Weight bolts question

I don't know about Dale Perry, but I have specs for others. These are cues I own. Best and cheapest place is Bolt Depot. You can get any length so you can really dial the weight in. They can be found by going to the Bolt Depot home page, selecting "set screws", then "allen cup point", then...

Simple Poll Question about organization of Pool USA

I think it is good that there are different flavors for the pool person to choose from. One might try BCA, then try APA and for whatever reason they might really prefer and excel from the APA's different set of rules. Someday if there are more PROs in the US, I think that things at the PRO level...

Ordering a new cue from a known cue maker. Should you order two wood shafts made or obtain one CF shaft?

I'd get a Cuetec Cynergy. Numerous joint sizes. Tried and tested. Easier to play with than the Revo, it has better feedback. Sorry wood fans. ☮️
