Why would you choose a college/university for your kids that excels in pool? I'd think you'd pick the school that excels in their particular career field or academics. They can always join a local league off campus and keep their game sharp.

I'm 42, but just in the last year I've noticed (not during play) but for days afterwards my knees ache. I've improved my game by leaps and bounds lately, which I've attributed to more practice and getting down on the shot more. I wonder if the new stance is reaking havoc on my knees?

Playing NAPA League last week against a really good, young, G.I.. He's the APA equivalent of an 8/9. The race was 6-4, he was up 4-0, joking, dancing, horseplaying with his teammate. I came back to win 5-4. Excuse to his team was he shouldn't have pulled that 24hr shift the day before.

Disregard my post. I didn't catch that the shooter used his cue to hit the 9 directly with no cb. I've used the cb to intentionally knock the 9 in (out of order) to prevent BIH and easy 9 combos.

Our local APA has that rule. Break down a cue and you can be DQ'd.

On one team I captained we maintained a foul jar. Foul (i.e. scratch, no object ball) and you drop a quarter in the jar. By the end of the session we had enough to pay for forfeits and a end-of-session BBQ (meat and stuff) at the park!
