Moving a 7ft bar table to redo hardwood floors

Hey guys, does anyone have any suggestions for how to go about moving a pool table like 10 feet (to the next room) temporarily to work on floors? We probably don't have enough people to safely lift it and move it, and we are also concerned about damaging the floor or messing up the leveling of...

    15 ball speed pool videos?

So this guy is trying to claim he beat the world record in speed pool, with a 52 second score, which is ridiculous, since the world record is 26 seconds set by Dave Pearson. 52 seconds isn't bad, but it's not a great score either, at the highest level. So I was like, ok this should be easy to...

Protecting hardwood floors when installing 9' Diamond in house

All of the rubber shims I'm finding are circular and 3'' in diameter. Diamond has told me that the dimensions are 2.25'' x 3.75'', so I would need something bigger.

Protecting hardwood floors when installing 9' Diamond in house

I was told by Diamond that putting rubber shims under the table legs was an option for protecting hardwood floors and preventing slipping. However, they said the Pro-Am legs where the leveling block hits the floor are 2.25'' x 3.75''. It seems like all rubber shims I can find for this purpose...

Protecting hardwood floors when installing 9' Diamond in house

I was told by Diamond to get rubber material that could be cut to fit under the pool table legs. Is this recommended, and if so, I have no idea what kind of rubber material to get or where to purchase it.

What's your estimated fargo rating if you beat 9 ball ghost more often than not?

It would be interesting to have matches with the ghost reported like any other match in fargo, so that the ghost would actually have a fargo rating.

Poll on Jump Cues, Vote Yes or NO

The issue should be whether jumping should be allowed or not, not whether or not a specialized stick should be allowed. Yes, it takes more skill to jump with a full cue, but that means people who are able to do so are still escaping good safeties without having to kick, while everyone else has...

    Loree Jon Snooze.............

Why do I have to keep repeating myself with you? No, you watch from the sidelines, and when a shot happens that could have been a foul but you couldn't see it well enough to be sure, you ask your opponent if it was a foul. You keep saying it's easier to just have the shooter call fouls, but...

Unfortunately, all of the nonsense in this thread requires pretty much the same response, and I didn't want to be rude and not reply to some people, hence the multiple posts with the same obvious logic.

What would be the better purchase predator vs schon?

What would be a better purchase, a memory foam mattress or an electric pressure cooker? Ooooh or how about a standing desk? Decisions.

    Loree Jon Snooze.............

The shooter is not ignoring the foul. The shooter sits down when a foul occurs because it is the end of their turn. The point of contention is who's responsibility is it to make sure the other player gets ball in hand because of the foul. Just because you think it's fair that the player gets...

    Loree Jon Snooze.............

It's an explicit rule that you are required to obey the speed limit. I still don't understand where you and others are getting the notion that there is some rule stating it's the shooter's responsibility to know about their fouls and call fouls on themselves. There simply isn't any rule that...

    Loree Jon Snooze.............

What's silly is how you think that automatically, if you don't say "HEY I JUST FOULED", that constituted cheating. Cheating is fouling and then continuing to shoot, or fouling and then when someone calls you out on it, you lie and say it wasn't a foul. If you foul and simply sit down because...

    Loree Jon Snooze.............

I understand that most people are used to a certain kind of etiquette in pool, so it's easy to stretch that to the point that when someone doesn't do what you're accustomed to, they are cheating. But honestly, I don't know where people are getting this notion that a foul must be called by the...

    Loree Jon Snooze.............

This is nonsense... Please explain why the player at the table has any responsibility to call a foul on themselves. I understand why people want it to be this way, so all is fair in the world, but it really is just a made up opinion with no factual basis in reality. JB's responsibility is to...

    Loree Jon Snooze.............

I think the reason most people believe this situation is somehow a violation of ethics is because they think the fair outcome would be that JB be rightfully punished for her foul, and they think that means both players should be responsible for making sure the "fair" outcome is what takes place...
