I also was not a fan of the corner castings and rail trim, but i bought the table for $900 so i dealt with it. I ended up taking the rail trim off which is very easy (5 screws) and painted them flat black. I think it looks pretty good now

I spaced the leds based on their beam angle and the height that I am mounting the light. Based on that there will be about 16"-18" overlap of light in the center of the table Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk

Black GC4 still a work in progress but slowly moving along. the rails were redone by Jack Zimmerman -jzmechanix and the table was set up by Joe Morasse of Master Billiards out of Plaistow, NH. I'll be painting the light to match the table and filling it with two 2x2 led panels

Thanks and for $900 was a steal. But I will take some better pictures at home and I know it is a gc4. The finish is like a piano and has a mirror-like black finish according to brunswick the finish is called poly black: see link below...

This is my table before i picked it up. Its hard to tell from the pictures but it is a wet gloss black. I can take some better pictures when i get home tonight

I have a piano black with gold trim gc4. I'm not a big fan of the gold and am going to get all the metal pieces powder coated. If anyone has any suggestions on polishing out the scratches in the aprons I'm open to any. I'm probably going to think of it as a car finish and handle it that way...

Used 30" z2 uniloc. It was a partial, small scratch on the ferrule, and a nick in the clear coat. shaft is straight. Has a kamui black soft. There is no z2 logo and the shaft was bought from seyberts last summer.
