There's allot of moving parts. Here's how I simplify those actions.

Walk up the shot line and set my bridge hand on the table, groove my cueing....Next, look up to confirm the shot line....reset if needed.

Another thought: I always find in interesting, when a pro is down on their break shot, with the shaft they will change the cue balls position slightly left or right and keep their stance in place.

They actually know their weight is wrong in relationship to their Break cueing position. The shooter is saving energy this way....Shooter does NOT want to get back up and reset their body.
