and I reflected that he was a lot like what pool players are
Not the part about a Rose on his chest
and a gun on his hip
but the mentality of stepping into harms way and testing himself
The idea of putting cans on a fence and mowing them down can
be satisfying to some people,good people ,sane people,sensible people,
the kind of people you like for neighbors,
Then along comes the James gang and they are riding fast and shooting pistols
.,they make untoward advances toward the women folk.
Wally Peepers the shop keeper once shot 72 cans in a row,6 dozen if you are counting
,but his knees are shaking, now , Wally tells the town council that those cans aren't shooting back.
"A fella could get hurt,by golly,a fella could get killed out there"
No sir Wally might shoot cans at the county fair,but this is why we pay the sheriff
Its dangerous when the cans are shooting back,it becomes a different ballgame.
Not so easy to stand firm and mow them bad guys down or is that wobbly knee telling me what my heart
already said secretly "get down fool" and it don't mean dance like a minority member.
No sir,its time to call Keith Mc Creedy, he may not be as sober as the sheriff,he might
not ever shoot a can on the fence but that guy is grinning at danger, he don't care
about them bullets flying his way ",let those villains worry about the bullets flyin their way" for a change,
"let the other guy feel the heat"
Yes siree by golly give the job to Keith,does anyone know how to find him?

He stares danger in the face,but I'm not sure he knows how dangerous it is
