Lausanne Billard Masters, 2018

This year's edition of the Lausanne Billard Masters is down to the final four. The two semi-finals will be Jaspers v. Coklu and Merckx v. Sanchez. The best game in the round robin part was Jaspers 40-13 over Bury in 7 innings. The high run overall so far is a 17 by Kang, but he did not get by Merckx in the round of 8.

I missed this year after attending the two previous years. I'm going to the Mosconi Cup in BrexitLand and both would have made it a 3-week trip. It is definitely a good tournament to attend.

And Eddy Merckx beats Murat Naci Coklu 40-33 in 17 innings in the final.

Coklu had run 5 and out to beat Dick Jaspers 40-23 in 17 innings and Merckx beat Dani Sanchez 40-35 in 23 innings in the other semifinal
