Need help identifying this cue. It is about 30 years old or more. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would say Viking of Gandy, but it may be an overseas cheapo.

Either way if you are looking for a value, not much in the shape it's in and not much more if in good shape.

It looks like a nice piloted brass joint, a steel 5/16x18 pin with a wood sleeved pilot and possibly a micarta ferrule.

If say the bumper has been replaced, take it off and take another pic.

Gandy, early national, maybe viking --- kinda feel

I can't think of his name offhand at the moment but Joe Van Buren (Classiccues) knows it. He was a small time cue maker in the 1960's and 1970's from Hungary and he more or less copied the Palmer, Rich and Paradise styles using colored plastic like this. Made inexpensive cues, but not very well. The colored plastic and black buttcap are give aways. Joe will know his name.

Thanks to everyone for your input. This was a cue given to a friend of mine by his father about 30 yrs ago. We were just wondering who the maker was.
