Firm hit, lots of feedback, and exceptional maple shafts = Keith Josey

That is exactly what I was just fixing to post. I don't personally much like the hit at all, but with his three requirements being "firm hit with a lot of feedback" and "shafts that play consistently between cues", Josey is who immediately popped into my mind.

Word to the OP though, for consistency between cues from the maker, you absolutely positively have to get shafts that haven't had the taper altered or been sanded on ever. Many people don't realize it and will disagree, but the vast majority of the hit and feel of a cue comes from the shaft, and as soon as its dimensions or taper are changed, and it doesn't take much, it will have a different hit and feel.

A bonus is that by all accounts Josey is a stand up guy who is a pleasure to deal with. Never heard a bad word about him, and couldn't begin to count how many stories I have heard about what a great experience people have had dealing with him.
