I expressed my opinion a while back that IF the majority of pool halls closed that their MAY be a resurgence of pool hall patrons that would transition over to the barrooms for pool playing as far as public competition goes.
I'm not sure if I would be correct in my assumption because I think this whole situation is pretty multi-faceted and up-in-the-air at this point. Personally, I think there are many gray areas.
My question is to those who are basically pool hall junkies - if the pool halls were to go under on a large scale and the only real public venues that involved pool table play was going into a bar to play there, would you even bother to transition or just throw in the towel and say that it really wouldn't be worth it at that point?
