The guy that sold me this cue said it may be an old MCDermott Cobra, but he wasn't certain. These are the only pics I have right now. Thanks!

Patrick, actually right at $15 including shipping, intended for breaking. Do you know anything about the cue - other than what you think it's worth?

Looks like a Sport craft to me. Definitely not Mcdermott or Cobra. Nothing like them.

Use it for break? Why?

A cheap cue to break with ... what's your thoughts?

They said Sportcraft, there's no catalog or interest in cheapo department store cues made in Asia in the 1970s, so it's (insert name here) import cue. Enjoy it for breaking, get a hard tip installed and let it rip

My thoughts were: Why bother? Honestly, they are that crappy in construction and materials. There are meany cheap cues that are better. There are many that are worse too, of course. Nothing wrong with going cheap, but get the most for your money I say.

I guess if it's what you got, go ahead and break with it.

As Ideologist said, put a hard tip on it. But sometimes these things have tips on them that are hard as a rock anyway, often due to age.
