Rush Out Red and Lotsapoppa. Played them both. :D

And for the vertically challenged we had Boston Shorty, California Shorty and Crippled Shorty, plus everyone's favorite The Jockey.

Another perfect name was for Gabby, who may not say a word for hours except, "yes, no or okay."
Jay, How did you and Lotsapoppa come out? I'm assuming ya'll matched up playing one pocket. He passed away some years back. Probably around 2000 or so. Didn't know if you knew it or not.

Thanks for that! Billy was one of my favorite people ever. He was triple smart and loved to gamble, the higher the better.

Beanie was flexible, and had a leg up on things, didn't he? The bottom picture greeted you when you walked into Jack and Jills.

He did trick shots pretty well too. He was the intermission when Luther Lassiter and Eddie Taylor played a straight pool exhibition at Oxon Hill High School, Maryland, in 1967. That was organized by Red Jones. I guess Red qualifies as a nickname too. More on that to follow.

All the best,
WW
