Is there much difference in hit with a ivory joint compared to ivorine? And, if so, would it be worth the money to get it changed? Also, how much should one be charged to have one changed. Thanks.

Ivory has a little harder hit than Ivorine 3 and a little softer hit than Ivorine 4.
The average cost for putting a Ivory joint on would probably vary according to the fame of the cuemaker and the location the cuemaker is in. You would also need to take into account the cost for a forearm refinish along with the joint change.
I removed my guesstimate on what the average charge would be after I got two negative PM's about the price range that I put on there. That was not a quote, but only a guess as to the range.
