looking to do something about the first part tho
so did some more reading on the subject via search..had no idea this was such a common thing..found more good info. and am now shopping for a soldering iron

I personally would not mess with the problem, I would find a Cue-repair person to do it. That way if they blow the job, they have the ability to fix.
