Should I be worried breaking with a cue with a G10 pin if I'm not flexing the shaft on the follow through? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I have a jump break with 2 g10 pins in it. I believe it to be the only cue with such.

15yrs old and 0 problems.

Original break tip too.

I have a break cue with a G-10 pin and have had no problems with it. Joe Gold from Cognoscenti cues used to do a demonstration where he placed the G-10 pin on his cue into a hole in a 2x4 and then proceeded to bend the cue back and forth and then remove the cue. There was absolutely no damage to the pin from the maneuver that would surely break a steel or brass pin. Just breaking with it should pose no problem.
