Pool tables in the old Walmart holding detained children
I seem to always see tables in prisons, mental institutions, and universities.
I quess it’s a good game to keep us busy and out of trouble, as long as the stakes don’t get to high.
I turned 21 in prison doing life without parole, no one could steer me right but Mama tried, Mama tried.
Mama tried to raise me better, but her pleading I denied, that leaves only me to blame cause Mama tried.
I first saw Dr Cue at the University of Illinois at Chicago rec center in the early eighties. He was doing an exhibition to kick off a Big 10 pool tournament. This was before ESPN trick shot magic shows. I remember Cue telling us that he did something like a 100 shows a year, all at universitys and prisons.
