I bought a 7x10 mini lath I was hoping I could use it for small cue repairs. Do I need to customize this lath so it'll allow me to properly repair cues? Retipping, waxing etc. If so what type of accessories? Any info would be great ?

I sell a steady rest and an 18" piece of dovetail to mount to the left of your headstock to steady the shaft for $125, #2MT concaved live center $45, plus 3 shaft collets $9 and a little work on your part and you will be ready to put on tips.

If you do a search on "mini lathe" you will find many posts that
detail lots of clever gadgets for your lathe. Lots of helpfull pics, etc.

There is a site that sells any part for these lathes - including a bed,
which can be very handy to have.
