Has anyone tried using a CA finish on a cue that originally had a water based poly? Does the cue need to have the complete finish removed down to bare wood, or will just sanding the gloss off be ok? My concern is for the CA may turn milky after a bit and also lifting issues. The poly used was General Finishes High Performance topcoat with UV. The CA will be Stick-Fast CA Wood Finish
