I took it up for a test drive. It has a radial pin and it is on the Drexler
Wiley Coyote cue of Deans. I liked the way it played, very accurate.
It does not spin the ball as much as the OB original that I have on
the the Schon cue I am using. Long shots with English, are much
easier,it seems to hold the line better ( no swerve). I tried the 12.4
but cant't stand the taper. It is a dirt magnet. It seems to get gritty
and sticky VERY quickly. It comes with a few little cleaning cloths
but I would go through those in an hour. It won't warp, you can
hit it with a hatchet, freeze it set on fire, no problem, but by all
means don,t get talc on it.By no means sand it (who would ?)
or harmful chemicals will be released and if you're not killed
you will never be the same again. That's the good news, in
BIG LETTERS, NO TALC. Well I use a little talc (I don't need a
speech) would never use a glove so I wonder what might
happen to it if I did. Is it so bad they can't even tell me in that
little brochure. It must be much worse than sanding it.I just
hope no one in the room uses some,a small cloud of talc might
float over while I'm playing contaminate the shaft and wipe out
the whole place. I really do think it plays great.

Should be smooth and not gritty or sticky. Is Deano punking you. Is he trying get it to stick to your hand as an April fool joke. Or are you flaming the shaft so Deano will think it's worthless and tell you to keep it. Me...I'd tell him it was lost or stolen. As for the wipes at $.50 a piece...hehe haha..real joke. Shame on Predator for charging that much. Should cost about 4 for a $1.00.
Talc and some Wildroot should help:thumbup:

The Revo shaft is the first one I haven't needed to use a glove with since gloves were invented. Best shaft ever in a million ways.

And players who leave talc on the felt should be forced to lick it up before each and every shot. It's like leaving cigarette butts on a living room rug.

The whole dirt and grit thing has me confused. I don't wear a glove and my hands sweat a lot while shooting and the shaft is as smooth and silly as can be after each use. I do wipe the shaft down with a microfiber cloth and the silly cloth that comes with the Revo after any session. I include the wet wipes use every 2 sessions of use with the previous method described.

I love it, I like to pour my hands full and then clap, making a giant cloud.
About every other game is about right. If it irritates my opponent all the better.
I feel if it's easy to find the cue ball after more than 1/2 hour I've failed.

My revo did the dirt and grit accumulation thing until I wiped it down a few time. Not sure, but there seemed to be some sort of film on the revo for a short time. Like I said though, after cleaning it with alcohol wipes three or four times, it never happened again that I noticed.

As for the indistructable.... lol... this was the sales pitch I experienced:

You can slam it against the table, throw it, drop it, kick it, run it over with your car...... just dont let a piece of sand paper touch it or break with it ..... oh no!!!! That would void all warranty on the spot!!!!

I've broke with my Becue Prime 12.0mm shaft hundreds and hundreds of times and haven't noticed any ill effects.

I don't know why you shouldn't be able to break with a shaft without voiding its warranty.

I shoot shots as hard as I break sometimes. What's the difference?

Are you not allowed to "shoot hard" with a REVO?
