Does anyone have an example of an accurate way to mark the cross at the foot spot for racking and the breaking area "kitchen" line.

Take a pencil or pen and lay it lengthwise on the table with one end of it close to position. Take a tape measure and center it between the long rails. Then use that same 'center' measurement from the end rail to the end of the pen. Mark a dot with a sharpie, then you just center your spot on the dot.

I've always used a "Chalk LIne" (snap line) to start off with, center diamond to center diamond, on the long & short rails.

Then I use a medium marksalot.

Or you use a laser like you get at bib box stores for hanging pics etc. I use tailors chalk - or a chalk pencil you get an an art store like Michaels. Less a while and if you mess up, you just rub it out.
