These three cues have been on fleabay for a couple of months for the same prices. If your friends seriously looked to unload them he should adjust the price a little bit.

Ebay

A couple months. I think it's closer to a year I've been seeing these on Ebay. Nice cues, GLWYS.

I don't see anywhere in the OP's post where he was looking for a price check..

It amazes me that a long time member would publicly post that the OP should lower his price..

Maybe next time you should share your retail expertise in PM.. ;)

Poolchaddy is right. If this guy wants to sell the cues, he needs to adjust the price. I've seen them off and on for at least a couple years. You can buy a Satin SW for way less then $2300. That's a fact.

You obviously missed the mark here, so lets try this one more time..

My reply to poolchady has nothing to do with whether the OP's price is out of line..
The OP as a member of this forum has the right and privilege to ask whatever price he
wants..

If you would like to offer price advice do so in pm.
KNOCKING the OP's price as a reply is breaking the social rules of this forum..

Here are a few examples of the forum rules.

6) If you are going to post in another's sale or trade thread, if you are knocking their thread, you will receive warnings and bans as with regular rule violations.

7) You have no right to criticize or complain regarding pictures, prices etc.

9) Either buy from an individual or don't but knocking them is not an option.

13) All Questions and replies to questions should be done via PM and not in the sales thread. It will be considered a bump to do so. ( Dave Wilson )

I hope this helps...

There is no need for sarcasm or being condescending to me. I didn't "miss the mark" as you so elequently stated. However, as you vehemently posted, I will refrain from making SUGESTIONS on price in the MAIN FORUM (isn't that logically what it's for though - interest and help/sugestions)? Forgive me if I'm wrong. I will make sure and direct my comments/sugestions to the particular individual with the add from now on. Thank you for the education.

comments about price criticisms are not allowed

i am not sure that these cues are the satin finish one

i believe these cues are standard quality southwest cues that are solid maple

if i am correct, they are better quality and more valuable

as a rule there is 1 shaft with the satin finish cues

i am unfamiliar with the pricing on either model, but what really matters is
that if someone wants this price,it is his right to ask for it

if i really needed a great playing cue,i am not sure that i
wouldn't buy this one,all sw cues play great,at least all that i ever tried

Dean look closely - one shaft clearly does not match

Thank you Dean, I didn't know you couldn't comment on prices and the like in public.

There are a lot of rules on AZ however, they are not enforced. The fact of the matter is it is the wild wild west on the AZ for sale forum. This is a fact, otherwise Seaglass would not be able to post anything on this site.

You guys still don't get it he can ask WHATEVER he wants for the cue, if you don't like it move on! It doesn't matter what matches and what doesn't it's his cue to sell as he pleases.

I didn't say anything about the price did I? Did the seller mention that one shaft isn't original? no! now that doesn't seem to be on the up and up. Be that as it may, dean posted that since it has 2 shafts it might not be a satin so I pointed out it looks like only one original shaft.

How do you figure? He never said either way on the shafts, so ask. Besides it still does not give you the right to knock a thread in public do it via PM.

The OP has every right to list his cue for sale on this Forum at any price he chooses to use.

It is against the Forum rules to knock someone's thread, even by posting advice that says you asking too much.

The OP isn't illegally bumping his thread and when it doesn't sell as so many believe, then he'll remove the thread or lower his price.

And PWH didn't knock the OP thread in his post. All he was doing was pointing out something out about the thread details. The fact
that it doesn't help the sale opportunity, it nonetheless points out meaningful information to consider before buying.

Dean got it right...... why does it matter to anyone that's not interested in buying this cue what the seller is asking for........if some Azer
posts a fancy Ed Prewitt cue and asks for $8500......are they going to jump on that thread and tell the seller he's overpriced or just leave
it alone.......and few Prewitt cues go for that much....at least the versions posted on Az.

Too many Azers are looking to cause a ruckus. People get noticed on Az for good things and for bad things & this is becoming one of those bad things.
