Look away, sir, I have seen your room and it's amazing.

Well worth the extra wait for years of pleasure. As fortunate as I feel to be in the position of having a pool room at all, I'm not complaining.

Minus the table now! I'm re-building the table. My Artemis 66 just arrived and I decided to carbonized the table

Thank you. It does look very similar to GW king david. One I have was built in 1982, maybe they copied style when vitalie stopped.

Black GC4

still a work in progress but slowly moving along. the rails were redone by Jack Zimmerman -jzmechanix and the table was set up by Joe Morasse of Master Billiards out of Plaistow, NH.

I'll be painting the light to match the table and filling it with two 2x2 led panels

Looking good. You will get some nice even light distribution using two of the 2x2 panels at each end of your light hood--I have seen too many people toss up a single LED panel in the middle of a 9 foot table and there is going to be light intensity falloff towards the edges...doesn't matter what type of source (LED, fluorescent, etc), it is just science.

Maybe consider piecing together a 2x4 and a 2x2 and have it appear as 1unit.

Not sure how hanging 2 2x2 will look.

Did you see his light frame? Pic is on the far right on my computer and had to use the bottom scroll bar. It is going to hold those 2 2x2 panels nicely.

Ah ok I had ro scroll over on my phone.
It should look nice.

I might still consider a 2x4 and a 2x2.

I replaced the fluorescent tubes in my Gold Crown light with dimmable LED tubes. Cut out the ballasts, direct wired the tombstones, put in a compatible dimming switch for the particular lights...very happy with the outcome. The biggest plus is absolutely no hum. Of course, if I have the stereo turned up as I often do, I wouldn't hear the hum anyway... Guess I am saving money on the electric bill, too.

I spaced the leds based on their beam angle and the height that I am mounting the light. Based on that there will be about 16"-18" overlap of light in the center of the table

Here is the light fit up, just needs to be painted. The light puts out 10,000 lumens with 2 panels
