it shows the Breevort Hotel, owned by Hannah & Hogg, one of Chicago's most successful and popular liquor brands. they also operated some of the most lavish billiard halls and bars that the world has ever seen.

also shown is Mussey's - known across america as one of the premier billiard and bowling venues.

although you cant see the intersection clearly, at madison and state st is where Emanuel Brunswick was killed in the street.
