It was sold, however. I'm not sure, from looking at it unassembled, if it is a 4 1/2 x 9 or a 5 x 10.

Check with 1-pocket-player here on AZ. I'm pretty sure he still has one for sale. It is a sweet table for a great price. Not local to you though.

Playing on a 5x10 and then going to a 4.5x9 is like playing on a 4.5x9 and moving to a barbox.

I have played a lot on 5 x 10's. A big difference I found was the side pockets. A shot into the side from an angle looks like it is a mile away. Also cutting a ball into the side and going three rails position you are all over the place till you get used to it. Problem is. Because of the different dimensions of the tables. When you go back to a 9 footer you can't get position on anything for a while. Your speed control in in the toilet. It is not good to practice on a 10 footer then try to play on a 9 footer. It won't help your game at all.
Best to get something like those pocket liners that make the table tougher when you practice. Then when you play for real, the game does seem much easier and you will have improved you concentration and accuracy while still playing on the same table. Everything looks like hangers after playing with the pocket liners.
