Hello Everyone, I just got back from Jakarta from the San Miguel Jakatar 9 Ball Tour 2006. The event was really eye opening with Efren Reyes doing some *magical* shots. I had a great time with the players myself and got tonnes of photos with them off the table. The feeling of taking the same bus with all the player and the ESPN organiser was priceless! I had uploaded my photos for your viewing at my new site. http://www.thepoolspot.com.sg/forum/

Enjoy!

i was there too..

that long rail bank where the ball is hidden behind is really something
everybody though that there is no way to make that ball and he can just play safe at best..

but no one expected that...he attacked it

it is one of his best shots, as good as that 8-ball to teh corner he made later..

You guys are just teasing us now.

Any of you two care cuetable-ing, or at least weitable-ing, either of those two shots? Thanks. :)

^^ maybe will just call him Lucky Efren ...sorry Joey but i've seen alot of lcuky Efren in other threads too....lol

anyway..... how would the Pool body rank players? Ranking is different from playing 8-ball and 9-ball ?

I am confused .... Reyes have been consistently the top moneymaker( base on azbilliards) how come he is ranked 4th-5th seed?

Prolly based on his San Miguel tour record only.
I just saw the hilites of his match against the Indonesian.
Efren must've not feeling heat as he used his lighter cue this time.
When he feels a lot of pressure, he uses the heavier cue.
The other guy had a really short stroke.

No doubt certain shots are lucky shots, considering the width of the pockets. He did some unimaginable shots with precise accuracy. They don't call him the Magician for nothing don't you think? Or perhaps a Lucky Magician. :)
