I have expounded the virtues of this game several times ... now once again

:
- a reasonable way to practice as there is feedback and pressure (your score)
- as a social game it is easy to handicap ... like golf we give some number of strokes, spread out over the hardest 'holes'. We allowed my dear departed father-in-law a stroke a hole, which we implemented by allowing him to remove one ball from the table on each hole anytime after the break. He got a ball on the break on a par three one time, and picked up the other ball for a hole-in-one ... ya, I lost that game
- opposite of most other pool games, the least skilled player gets the most table time while the most skilled player gets the least table time (important to keep interest in a social game with players of various skills)
My board looks a lot like the first board posted, with several holes that have racks with the balls spread out in the rack (not touching). Looking more closely, my board is different than all boards shown. On my board hole #1 is the standard 3-ball rack.
