Dennis almost whitewashed his opponent on hill 10-0 until his opponent grabbed a rack so now 10-1

:D

Does anyone know what country Kaplan is from? I don't recognize the flag.

Poland. The Poles have quite a big team here and polished a number of killers past few days not to be underestimated
Kaplanz is a strong player capable of upsetting Shane

Close-up of shooter's eyes

I noticed in the match between Shane Van Boening and Kaplan, score 5-3, the camera man gave an extremely good close-up of Kaplan's eyes as he was shooting a shot. Very obvious what ball he was looking at last.

Kozoom, taking it up a notch.

Wow the surprise is Lombardo who is up 6-3 over another Polish Sniegock something. Sniegock is the favorite in this one.
If Lombardo wins this he is in last 32 and that is probably is strongest showing in overseas majors/WC.
Go go Lombardo :D

Thanks. Did Kaplan just miss with ball in hand? Or maybe the ref just picked up the ball to clean it.

The over -the-top-of-the-table camera shots show that even Shane doesn't ALWAYS follow through completely and occasionally "jabs or pulls back the cue" on some shots. At 7-3 he shot the 3 ball with a jabbing type stroke which isn't customary but he made it and got great shape on the 4 ball.

Kozoom doing well. Stream problems seem to be ironed out as well.

I'd like to see that two ball shot that Shane just missed, one more time.
Just curious as to why he missed that shot at 8-3.

Between Shane and Mike, only 1 of them can make it to the final 16 correct? Since they're in the same bracket. That sucks if it's like that. How amazing would it be to have an all American final? Hasn't been seen since the stone ages.

The South Dakota Kid knows that following through should be varied, depending what
you want the cue ball to do. If you want a quick reaction from whitey, hit and stop..
...if you want to give the cue ball 'memory'...extend your follow through..
Shane knows stuff like this, that's why he's named after a State.....:D

Oh no, his opponent has tied the score 8 all now. If Hunter wins, he will face Dennis Orcullo next. It is a pity that all 3 Americans are in the same bracket. Only 1 of them can be in the finals if they continue winning.

Also, only 1 of SVB, Dennis Orcullo and Appleton can reach the final 4.

Oh no, they belong to the same bracket but different quadrant. They can both make it to the final 4. Only 1 can emerge as the semifinalist for their bracket.
