Stream

Thanks for another great stream and also for landing Jeremy Jones in the booth. I don't understand how he is not paid to be a commentator for every tournament. You can learn so much by listening to him and I enjoy every minute.

Can't wait for the next one.

Great job!

Great job!

I agree on all said. Double j is the best commentator imo hands down as far as rotation games. And also the stream was great no issues and fortunately some great pool especially the last day

I just want to thank you guys for putting on such a great show. Skinny Bob's only has 16 tournament tables yet managed a 128 player field elegantly and professionally. I thought the overall atmosphere among players was polite and that is usually a reflection of how they're treated by the organizers.

As well, regarding the redraw at 32, even though it didn't help me, I thought it was a nice touch. Everyone who made it that far has been in dozens, possibly hundreds of tournaments over their lifetimes. It was nice to play in an event that had a slightly different format.

In spite of the room's size, there was ample seating and it was easy for my friends to watch all of my matches, no matter where I was in the room. Also, the non-smoking side with the 7-foot Diamond Bar Boxes served as a nice lounge for players waiting for matches and the mini-tournaments were a great distraction to keep people busy.

I look forward to the next time!

Looks like Sky with his 2nd place finish in Texas has moved ahead of Dechaine in Team USA points rankings.

Next points event is the 25k added 4 Bears 8 Ball Classic New Town, North Dakota September 15-18

On a different note, how about that hill hill safety by Oscar on the 5ball. For those that didn't see he was running out n with only the 5.7.9 on the table he decided to play safe on the 5 when he had a perfectly good shot and angle and for no real good reason tried to hook the cue behind the nine n send the 5 up table. After everyone oooohhhhed and awwwed and scratched their heads including his opponent Brandon Shuff, Brandon circled the table got down n kicked two rails into the five, cut it into the pocket, and ran out, winning the game and set and eliminating Oscar.

Thanks for posting oscars reply n I hope he doesn't get too much grief about this and treats it as a learning curve. The best case scenario for him to realize it wasn't the 100% shot he describes is exactly what happened n like jj said while commentating a top pro is going to hit that ball 90% of the time n chances r Oscar is coming back to the table in a worse spot so that is basically why it was the wrong shot but still he played great and even tho they played a million hours in a weekend that's what they as pros need to do imo n when I work 40 hour weeks for 1/10 of what John Morra made I feel the same exhaustion with less money n way less enjoyment lol but I do understand exactly what he's talking about. Again great showing from Oscar n imo a great event especially for a fan like me, I got to watch great pool all weekend. I even woke back up around 2am after missing the end of the hot seat yo watch the second set of the final that ended around 4ish eastern time
