✯✯FINALS-LIVE✯✯ WEPF World 8-Ball Championship - ✯✯FINALS LIVE✯✯

Phil (8) vs Adam (9) - Adam changes his break again and this time does not scratch and makes a ball with a wide-open table in front of him. He shoots his only awkward ball first getting that one out of the way. Once again, using excellent speed and cue control, he picks balls out of a small cluster and leaves himself perfect on the eight. B&R

Phil (8) vs Adam (10) - Another dry break for Phil. Another cluster between the 40 and fifty yard line. As if "whitey" was on a string, Adam gets all the right angles .. until his second to last ball where he was slightly off. He chooses a different approach, makes the ball and leaves himself a carom off Phil's ball -- drains it for the win.

Phil (9) vs Adam (10) - Adam breaks dry. Phil, with surgeon like precision, clears the table in beautiful fashion!!

Excellent performance by both players --- come join the stream! They are on break for a few now.

Phil (9) vs Adam (11) - Phil makes on on the break but has "not the greatest of lies" on the table. Three and four ball clusters! He breaks one of them up but creates another in the process. He creates the perfect angle and breaks that one up. He has a very small window and lines up perfect for it and splits the pocket but then misses the last ball before the eight. He looks frustrated with a resigned look on his face. Adam has Phil's ball close to the pocket with two balls left before the eight. He goes by Phil's ball and sinks it lining up perfectly on his last ball, makes it, drains the eight and is now the ✯✯2011 8-Ball World Champion✯✯!!

Excellent play by both - great match from start to finish. Congratulations Adam! Phil can hold his head up high!

Strange rules!

Strange world!!!! Hope you enjoyed it .. I did. That cloth is like the old school cloth ... slow but consistent. Europe seems to use it (Milliken) quite a bit on their 8 footers (from what I have seen on various streams anyway). What's your take on it? I'm kinda up in the air/on the fence so-to-speak about it myself.
