✯✯Shane VanBoening vs Alex Pagulayan✯✯ *TODAY*

Could be Wu vs. SVB in the final four. That would be a great match to see on the stream.

Wu up 5-1.

I've watched three of his matches in this tournament and I swear I don't remember him missing a ball.

I thought they looked big to me also ... and to others here on AZ; however, when asked the question on Facebook Daz replied: "Pockets ok I guess standard pro size.."

For some reason, watching on stream can be deceptive (angles, pocket sizes, etc.). Many times it looked like someone did not have a window but did (and visa versa) ... ooooorrrrrr, I'm just getting too old :o

Standard Pro Pockets

Hey Bob,

Does'nt DAZ carry around a measuring tape ! lol

Bob , did U watch any of Toasties challenge matches yesterday.
He was playing in some other room with gold crowns.
However, those tables did have the bucket pockets!!

Bob, I'm as blind as a bat but I could easily notice the difference
between the tournament gold crowns and the others.

Yes I saw some of Toasties challenge matches -- made a thread on it even. I agree with Mark Griffin's comments on that thread: "I applaud Thorsten for his generosity and his kindness. This means a lot to the players." Five minutes of attention from a person of his stature can create years of positive conversations about our sport.

As for your being able to tell the difference between tournament GC and others on stream ~~> I am blind in my left eye and can barely see out of the other. If I've been on line too long I'm lucky if I'm able to read the chat and see the balls clearly (without them having several edges) -- even when I've increased the size. Of course there are indicators that can give it away to me sometimes ... like an object ball hitting a diamond up and still going in etc. The type of table can be an indicator but one cannot always go by that not knowing whether or not a table mechanic has shimmed things or not -- or by how much. When the big boys are playing, they can go a whole tournament without hitting the rail that far up so I cannot be absolutely certain of a pocket size -- close, but not certain. I must not be the only one either cause others on AZ have asked (JohnnyT for instance) and I seen a few ask on Facebook as well. Daz played on them yet still said "I guess standard pro size .." Let's face it .... I'm just getting too old!:sorry:
