✪ Mass media has not promoted our sport to the degree it deserves so we all went the internet route and now Ustream seems to be turning their nose up as well.

One other thing they did today was to switch everyone to the new interface. Its impossible to go in and view the different live sports categories to get at the pool/billiard/snooker streams. Search function still works but only in English. Ran a search in Japanese and it failed. Only way now is targeted Google search strings. Bah.

Does this really solve the main issue of using Ustream for live billiard action? --Just Sayin'

Let me know when you guys start seeing billiard related advertising on the ustream pop-up ads and main stream.

No, not really; but, the Master Stream List is no longer available...that is the concern. As a promoter of live streams of anything felt-related, that list was extremely helpful in regards to bringing new people into the sport and showing proposed sponsors just how extensive it has grown in hopes that we can get some support!

As pertains to Ustream Ads: Most viewers utilize Adblock Plus and do not have any pop-up. This IMO is due to the ads seemingly popping up at the "wrong time" (critical point in the game).

Main Stream Ads: By that, if you mean on the stream vs TV, there have been for quite some time on some streams -- but nearly not enough. The aforementioned Master Stream List could have helped in that regard.

Please go here and see what folks that stream are saying ... the ones in the know!
