Of course, I take umbrage at his indifferent reference to those who didn't finish school. I myself, had to go to work when I was in the seventh grade. Dad was a little down on his luck, and Mom had a stuttering problem that made her extraordinarily shy.
I got a job working for a guy down on Lake Taneycomo, baiting trot lines. He said it was a union job and I would start out as an apprentice. If all went well in a couple of years I'd become a Masterbaiter.

You aren't judging speed. Speed = how strong someone plays.

Not how much effort they put into being able to play at that speed. 2 players playing at the same speed. One may have been playing for a year one may have been playing for 20 yrs.

No idea what you are trying to judge. Maybe how much of a natural a player is? Regardless it's definitely not speed.
