đź’ˇ 8-ball should be the game. POINT, BLANK, PERIOD!!

Assuming you have just one wife (commas save lives), why does she watch 8-ball. Is she tolerating while you watch it, or does she genuiniy enjoy watching? Is the volume on?

Freddie <~~~ watches Real Housewives...
I've had a lot of wives.....but only 3 were mine.....

Volume is on...lol She doesn't play league but has come along to watch it and has probably played a dozen games of 8 ball in her life, so even with her limited experience she understands the game. Maybe it would be better to say she recognizes the game.
Certainly she can understand 9 ball or 10 ball, it's a simple concept, but she just doesn't have a connection to it. She has never been to the 9 ball tournaments I have played in and when friends and family come to our house we play 8 ball, but cause that is the game they know.
She does like watching Mosconi Cup, but that is because of the "us vs them" aspect more than the game being played.

I used to think that until I watched pros actually play 8 ball. It's terrible. The game is far to easy for pros to play on 9 foot tables or bar box. The only time it looked hard for them is the chinese 8 ball championship and that's because they play it on snooker tables.

I agree, I think different games are suited to different tables...for what its worth in my ideal world, it would be like this:

9-Ball: 9 foot table
10-Ball: 10 foot table
14.1: 10 foot table
8-Ball: Chinese table

Personally I think those tables match well to each individual game (I have no idea about one pocket, never played it, never watched it)!
