Retirement!

I am thinking I might have to come out of retirement if nothing else to support two of my favorite ladies on the planet in Melinda and Amanda. I have played twice in the past year but I am really getting that itch for playing again. I have been playing a lot of golf but that season is quickly winding down for the approaching winter. I hope its not too late when I do decide. Anyway, im extremely happy to see this new NORTH TEXAS tour taking off and gaining popularity. You couldnt have more classy promoters of pool running it so its bound for success. I hope to see you guy there.

I think there should be some way of Melinda and Amanda playing, maybe swapping out each tournament or something, but it just doesn't seem right to finally get something through here and you can't play?

Our first FOUR events are already set for next year. We are just waiting on exact dates for the first two.

But we will be at Rusty's in Arlington in Jan, then the Billiard Den, then April 27028 at JR Pockets, and then June 22-23 at Rusty's in Fort Worth. We will have two more stops, for a total of 6 stops next year!

BTW, December 7-8, 2013 will be the Season Finale.
Must have played in THREE of the six events to qualify for the end of season $2,000-added tourney.

If we have separate ladies events, I will play, otherwise, I'm perfectly fine running the main event and not playing right now. Sweet, though!

2 Questions....

1) Will there be a seperate women's tournament at this Speed's tournament?

2) Will the end of season $2,000-added tourney be limited to 64 players?
 
Do you know what date the tournament will be in January? I'm talking with the owners in Ardmore about a tournament the January 11th-13th or 18th-20th. I don't want to put them on the same week end.

Those are the two weekends we are looking at. The pool room is waiting on an event to be finalized (MMA) and then they will let me know which weekend. I will let ya know as soon as I find out (should be pretty soon).

1) No, there are not enough tables this time to hold a separate women's event.
2) No, we will have to open that one up to more than 64 players, b/c more than 64 will qualify for it. :)

We just confirmed the weekend of Jan 19th. :)

We have the first Five stops confirmed for 2013 for the Omega Billiards Tour!

Each stop at least $1,000-added! Limited to the first 64 paid.

Stop1: Jan 19-20, Rusty's in Arlington
Stop 2: Feb 23-24, The Billiard Den in Richardson
Stop 3: April 27-28, JR Pockets in Denton
Stop 4: June 22-23, Rusty's in Fort Worth
Stop 5: Aug 3-4, Clicks off Green Oaks and Forestwood
stop 6: Oct 5-6, to be announced

Season Finale: Dec 7-8, $2,000-added (must play in 3 of the 6 events to be eligible, NOT limited to 64)
