Re: Chicagoland Viking Tour events.

YES we will be having some in the Chicago Region this Fall and Winter. We will also most likely be doing a Grand Opening event for Tom's new room.

As soon as the dates and events are confirmed I will post them here on AZ.

if someone wins or makes a cash in the amateur event,how if any does it affect your amateur status? can they play in the next one? other amatuer events put on by different sponsors? thanks

dimes33, on the Viking Tour you can win a maximum of 2 amateur event or place in the top 4, 3 times before you are booted off the amateur portion of the tour. Also, you must meet certain criteria to compete on the amateur tour which includes never winning any other OPEN tour events from any tour or any other tournaments considered as Pro events. additionally, you must not be a known road player. Participation in the Viking Cue Amateur events decided by the above criteria and the TD's final decision for any amateur event.

As far as it affecting other tours ??? I really do not know if it will since many of them have very relaxed ratings as we do and vary from region to region.

is there a fee for spectators? if you pay to play in the amatuer is this fee waived sat night?

Dress Code = Dress Comfortably and Please Look Presentable. If you are going to wear a T-shirt please make sure it is pool related.

NO Spectator Fee but I will expect you to buy some raffle tickets for the Viking Cue. We usually raffle off a $400 + Viking Cue and give you your choice of several cues to choose from but the raffle is not mandatory.

I hope to see you at the event.
