$1 Halex Cue Cases @ Dollar Tree stores

Thought you guys would like to know. Dollar Tree stores are selling Halex molded tube cases 1X1 for $1 ea. I bough 4 and there were plenty left at my local store. Judging by the way they are hitting ebay I'd say this sale is chain wide.
Colors avail. Grey/ Navy/ Lt Blue/ Red (didn't see any black)

Northeast from what I can tell. You can check online by city or zip for a store near you.
So far I've found MULTIPLE stores in:
NY
NJ
CONN
MA
NH
VA
MD
PA
DC
 
thanks, just picked a few up. unfortunately, none of my cues fit, i.e. they don't go down all the way into the case :(

But I don't think they have too. Did you try to close it? There is room on the top.

not all stores carry them

Long time lurker here.
Dollar tree is nation wide, I live in WA state there are 4 within 25 miles from me.
I called their 24 hr info line hoping to make an order but the sales rep said they didn't carry such an item.

The long and short is that not all stores carry the same items. A buyer for dollar tree on the east coast probably bought someones inventory and distributed it to as many local area stores as possible. That explains why you cant direct order them from Dollar Tree and the associates I talked to locally didn't even know what a pool cue case is. :(

I would recommend taking a look at a local store. It's distinctly possible the rep was mistaken and you'll miss out on a sweet deal.

My wife picked up 8 at a dollar each last week.
They are about 31 inches long so you can just about sqeeze a cue in there as long as you dont have joint protectors.

I did just that and fouled out.
Some of you traders should buy a handful, at a buck a whack that's cheaper than card board tubes :thumbup:
 
Oh I didn't realize you are on the Island. I don't know much about the North shore area. I know Trader Joe's is next door. Was that the same place?
