I tried some 1 pocket tonight for the 3rd time, maybe 15 games, had 2 8 and out, 7 and out and a 12. Thought I was playing good then see 48??? on the azbilliards page. Do you re rack in 1 pocket... I have only played a few times and don't know all the rules.

Jason, go to onepocket.org and you'll have all your questions answered. All the elements of good pool playing can be found in one pocket. Shot making, safties, banks, kicks, all kinds of offensive and defensive strategies.
It's the greatest game going.

Jason,

The game is over once you've made however balls you need to make. Standard game would be whoever makes 8 first, in their pocket. Game Over at that point. You also don't break the balls wide open, if you care about your bankroll.

The game they're playing at the derby, is more of a contest.

Ok, that is what I thought. I kept going on the 12 just to see if I could run them. I cleared the table.
