Rankings
Dean, I know that several people from the BCA league in Riverwest (Milwaukee) are interested in playing in this tournament and I have posted flyers on that side of town. A lot of them do not have State BCA rankings and thus are not sure what division in which they would be eligible to compete. I believe that the league operator was going to try and get in touch with you to sort that out. Apart from that, if they are unable to produce reliable sources for rankings/ratings, they will be in the AA and above divisions, correct?
I will be playing in the "B" Division for 8-ball and the lower division on 9-ball myself. Not having placed in last year's WI BCA singles tournament and being rated as a B-player in the Wisconsin BCA rankings I would assume there would be no issue with that. I definitely expect to place in the money however! Are you anticipating over 200 players in the lower divisions? Is the scheduling going to be such that a person can not possibly try to play in the upper division as well as their respective division? I know I would not mind paying the extra money to see how I fared, it helps to put your game into perspective without having to gamble against those better players as that is typically the only time you can play them and see their game!
