Make a ball on the break, then don't miss. ;) (sorry)

Ken

4 to 6 handed, pick balls out of a box for position (order of play). New players go last. Change the order (pick again) every 30 minutes or so, with the winner of the previous game going first (thus not picking).

And most important, PAY OFF AFTER EVERY GAME!

Player MUST try to hit the ball. NO safeties allowed. If he fails to hit the ball, the next player has the option to shoot or pass it back. All balls made on a foul spot up. Next player shoots from behind the line. He can also pass this shot back if he chooses to.

And that's enough to get you started. Oh, and don't miss! haha

Great rules Jay, thats the rules we use every saturday night in our 9-ball ring game. We change order evey 5 games, We use the pill bottle to choose order. High pill breaks!

Jeff? Oh well.

In a tournament, the players all start with the same amount of money or bullets. At intervals (30 minutes to 45 minutes norm), the bet is raised, and you play until one man is left standing. Usually pays only first or sometimes first and second.

You're welcome Duck.

A Few Twists.....

We Have been doing a couple of fun twists. Most of what Jay mentioned and:

1. Texas Hold Em' Style -6 to no limit of players- A player will "buy in" for a certain amount, say $100 or $200 and, for that, the player would receive $1,000 in chips. We start at $25 and raise the amount and re-draw every thirty minutes. In this format we only pay on the 10 ball. Lot's of fun. You can do winner take all or 1st and 2nd with 6 players. With 12 we paid 3 places.

2. Points - 3-6 players - We play to 10 points for a set amount. 1 point on the 5 and 2 points on the 10. In this format we spot all balls made on fouls and the 5 if made early. 10 in = round over.

Action getting thin? Shake it up with a 10 ball ring game. Tons of fun.:D
