So yesterday I posted the first of many $100 fast&loose Challenge Racks, and Daniel Busch of POV POOL took the cash on his second attempt. It was well executed and the video is entertaining. I'm glad the challenge made you all think and try to pick apart the rack, finding ways to break out the 4-7 cluster.

The next Challenge Rack will definitely be tougher, and I will post it tomorrow afternoon on the fast&loose Facebook page, here:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fast-Loose-Designs/128966623781729

"Like" the page, and keep your eye open for the post which will detail the $100 rack, and how to submit your runout. Only those who "like" the page will get the update tomorrow afternoon, so please support the upcoming Challenge Racks, and good luck!

Here is Daniel's runout from the first Challenge Rack:

thank you for doing this. I am sure people appreciate the $$ and the challenge.

but are you saying if we are not members of facebook, that we can't see the diagram ?

thanks anyway.

I posted it a few hours ago, but no one has submitted yet. You can find it on my website at fastnloosedesigns.com

I played the cue ball as you placed it, struck the 1 and went three rails around the 2/5/9 into the 10 to make it. You'd think I'd have started recording myself after the 17th time I pulled this off.

Which diagram are you referring to? I can't see any 3 rail path to the 10.

Hi Skyscraper. Its cool you are doing this contest.

Are you using a 7' table in your diagramming software? It sure looks that way to me, but I can't be certain. May I suggest you use the cuetable.com site's table? It is extremely accurate, and generally accepted as the most accurate diagramming tool available. If you are not familiar with it, you just have to make an account there to use the table, then you take a screenshot of the layout you make, and post the screenshot wherever you please.

I say this, because the layouts so far would make a difference in possible ball paths and blocking cue ball routes when set up on a 7' vs 9' table.

Best.

I use my own diagram I created in Illustrator. The runout can be done on any size table, and my next Challenge Rack will have a 9 foot table diagrammed.

I'd link to the diagram, but I don't have enough posts to post links.

Ob I see. You wrote 2/5/9 which confused me, since it's the 2/4/9. Do it on video and win some cash! Looks incredibly difficult since the English reverses on the 3rd rail and slows the cueball down considerably and sends it on a curved path to the 10.

Nice! It appears my challenges aren't challenging enough! Paste your video to the Facebook page. You are winner #2. $100 coming your way the 26th of October!

Im not sure what you want me to do.
Hey keep up the challenges ...i love this kinda stuff.

Do you have a Facebook account? This is a promotional challenge, and any and all exposure is needed. You can follow the links I provided on the PDF to place your video on our Facebook page. Nice work, you completed both challenges!

Hey can you pm me on what your talking about on the pdf.

Hey two county I need the six! Nice job there getting it done.

Skyscraper Chris - how about making it where you pick a winner out of all the people who post a successful runout in 24 hours? That way the contest isn't over the moment someone posts a video.

Hmm, that's a cool idea. Another friend suggested I pay out 3 spots depending on who completes it first. The reason I wanted to pay 1 person was to get people to like the Facebook page so that they could get the diagram before others and complete the challenge first. I like your idea though and may implement it next month.
