$1000 added 8-Ball 10-16 Marietta Georgia

[cueman]

There is a $1000 added 8-ball tournament at THE POOL ROOM in Marietta, Georgia on October 16. They have this tournament on the third Saturday of each month. Last month Marco Marquez won it. They have a 9 ball $1000 added on the second saturday of each month also. Israel Hightower won it. They do pro-rate the added money based on 64 players. But with 32 players they add $500 and it pays a few hundred to win it, plus player auction. Marco won almost $800. Best monthly tournament going on around Atlanta on a monthly basis.

What Time?

Thanks for the info. What time is signup, and what is the entry fee? I guess they are using APA rules for the 8 Ball? Well, a lot going on in Atlanta this weekend, the UPA and SEAL are also in town. I wish they could all agree to have events on different weekends (smile).
For those interested, check out southernbilliards.com for the upcoming Fall Follies Tournament in Mississippi this weekend. It is a biggie also.
