I am in need of a table mechanic that can cover a 12 Ft snooker table. I live in Murfreesboro Tennessee and would appreciate any references anyone could suggest. Sam Rowland and Alex Webb are the 2 known mechanics and don't cover snooker tables. I know this is a long shot but thought I would give it a try . Thanks to everyone and have a great day !!

Don't do this but if I was sitting on a 12 footer fixer upper, I'd get the world standard pocket templates, ignore 'em, and have the pockets cut smaller with less to no jaws. The reason for this is to facilitate the range of "down the rail" shots.

then he would have a 12ft pool table, not a snooker table

mMMaybe. It would be scaled to be as tight as a pyramid table but with tolerance for all rail shots. This is a non burger for collectors and purists. I bring it up at every opportunity because of the lame defense the round jaws necessitate.

The site findsnooker.com tries to list all of the available snooker tables in the US and Canada. (It depends on the kindness of players to get the info -- it is a volunteer effort without any financial reward for the guy who runs the site.) If any tables are listed in your area, the owners may know someone near you.

I see there are two tables listed in Murfreesboro but they are 9'.

And if you find any info about the rooms/tables listed, please send it in to the site.

Also, you might try the Talk To A Mechanic subforum if you haven't already:

Just get two of them to do the work. If one is OK with doing 9 feet, get the other to do the left over 3 feet, simple math and logic ;)

Off topic, but I was in your area not long ago and was in your town playing at Fat Willies and MJs a few times. If you saw a shortish bald guy with glassed and a beard, that was me :)
